‘Come Together’ kicks off this next chapter for Pete. It’s the soulful piece of the puzzle the industry has been missing, and proof that Pete Philly is back indefinitely.
Stay tuned for the official video in the coming weeks.

From Aruba to Amsterdam, Pete Philly is a multilingual hybrid who came to the Netherlands in his youth. First came the two Pete Philly & Perquisite projects which were supported by Q Magazine , D J Mag UK , B BC 1Xtra – not forgetting being nominated for the MTV EMA’s – and hailed by T albi Kweli as “Light Years ahead of the game”. Off the back of this success, Pete went on to open shows for artists including J ames Brown and K anye West , as well as touring cities, countries & festivals worldwide.
In 2011 Pete then released his two solo projects – putting out the Red Dot and FWA Award winning visual album OpenLoops, which was later ‘borrowed’ for Pharrell’s 24 hours happy project, as well as the PIAS-signed One which was then followed by a touring schedule which took him to new territories in 2013.
What happened next was unforeseen and took Philly out of the industry. A life threatening illness meant that those years in between were spent on a road to full health and recovery in preparation for his next chapter.
